Relational and Decision-making Dynamics of Virtual Work Groups.

Virtual work groups are not new, nor is the scientific study of cyberspace as a social space in which communications are mediated through electronic tools. More recent, and more specific, is the study of the functioning of virtual work groups as such. Remote collaboration has been facilitated since the 1990s with the use of email and telephone however physical co-presence however until a few years ago was considered necessary to qualify a team as such. In recent years, however, virtual work dynamics have become pervasive and pervasively necessary and prevalent due to lockdowns resulting from the COVID-19 pandemic.
