The Principle of relevance

The Principle of Relevance was a visionary book, published by Stefania Lucchetti in 2010, just at the beginning of the unfolding of the big data era. The book explores the then dawning information overload syndrome deriving from the growing digital information exchange.
What is worth knowing? What is worth doing? What is worth responding to?
As wealth, time, and resources no longer constitute a barrier to knowledge and learning, the competitive edge is no longer based on availability of information, but rather on the ability to navigate through a flood of high speed data and select, access, use and respond to the information that is most relevant. The vision and purpose of the book was to deepen the reader’s awareness of the complexities and opportunities offered by the information technology era and to give the reader strategic tools that will empower effectiveness through deliberate awareness building and choice of action: choice about what to do and when.
